History
This year, the Vietnamese Student Association at
Rutgers University has organized the 1st
annual Miss Vietnam New Jersey 2007. The goal of
the Pageant is to honor Vietnamese women in the
state of New Jersey. Not only will this event
establish unity amongst the Vietnamese
community, but will increase awareness of the
Vietnamese culture. The Miss Vietnam NJ Pageant
will be held at Rutgers University which is the
largest and most diverse university in the state
of New Jersey. The Pageant offers scholarships
to all the winners and is reserved for women
between the ages of 16-25 and of
Vietnamese descent.
